CORONADO Releases New Insights on Type 1 Diabetic Patients

The teams of the CORONADO network publish today in Diabetes Care an article dedicated to type 1 diabetic patients hospitalized for Covid-19.

“[…] Among patients with diabetes requiring hospitalization for COVID-19, the present data suggest a lower risk of severe prognosis in those with T1D, especially in the younger ones.”, authors conclude.
