CORONADO secures “National PHRC” funding

Funding obtained from the PHRC*-COVID call for projects launched by the French Ministry of Solidarity and Health will make it possible to set up a control cohort of COVID-19 non-diabetic patients (especially by relying on the CORONADO centres) and to set up a link with the National Health Data System (SNDS) in the population.

This study will provide new recommendations for the management of diabetic patients with COVID-19. The requested funding amounts to 378 k€.

*Financed by the Ministry of Health and Solidarity, the Programme Hospitalier de Recherche Clinique (PHRC) aims to:

  • Stimulate hospital clinical research with a view to promoting medical progress;
  • Participate in the improvement of the quality of care by evaluating new diagnostic and therapeutic methods;

Scientifically validate new medical knowledge in order to identify therapeutic innovations and implement dissemination strategies in the healthcare system.
